This month’s edition will, like last month, focus on climate change and the COP-17 climate change negotiations taking place in Durban, South Africa from November to December 2011.
Three factors stand out:
1) That significant climate change impacts are occurring and that much of those impacts are caused by our actions;
2) that there are proven solutions that can be implemented that will build resilience in human settlements provided that the political will is there to undertake interventionist strategies as a matter of urgency; and
3) that indecisiveness is unethical as we are creating a problem for future generations who may well find the scale of the problem beyond their capability.
Why not send this month’s E-Journal to your COP-17 representatives?
